    (About)

    Hi, I'm Abi

Learning AI through real work. Documented here.

Abi Mangku is an Indonesian AI practitioner. I help companies put AI to work in three ways: building AI agents for business through Infused, running hands-on corporate AI training through Latih AI, and advising leaders on practical AI adoption strategy. My perspective is business-first, not technical.

Teams I've trained in AI through Latih AI include Tempo Scan Group, Ajaib, and Astra Life; and I've worked with BCA, BSI, Bayer, Brompton, and Kapal Api through Epilog Creative. Co-Founder of Infused and Epilog Creative. Previously at Shopee.

    (What I believe)

How I think about AI for business

I look at AI from the business side, not as an engineer. But I don't just advise on it, I build it. AI agents that run in production, tools shaped to real work, and the training that gets teams using them. Across banking, fintech, and consumer goods, and inside my own agency.

    1. 01

AI should make your team faster without making the work sloppy. Speed is easy. Speed you can trust is the actual job.

    2. 02

The best AI does the work, not just the writing. Agents, tools, software that actually runs. You stay in charge of the calls that count.

    3. 03

Start from the work you already do, not a tool someone's selling you.

    4. 04

The goal isn't a wow demo. It's your team still using AI a month later, and the month after that.

    5. 05

I'll tell you what's real and what's hype, including the places AI shouldn't be anywhere near your business yet.

    6. 06

Business-first. If you're not technical, you're exactly who I explain this for.

The models aren't the hard part anymore. Using them well, with judgment, on the work that actually matters, is. That's where I come in.

These days I run two businesses, one in marketing and one in AI development. I spent a few years in startups, the last one was Shopee, and in 2019 I went out on my own. I am not an engineer and I cannot code. So why build this site, and why write about AI?

A few reasons, but here is the one that matters for you. Everything I share comes from putting AI to work in my own companies, day to day. I run a lot of experiments on real problems, with real money on the line.

I have no patience for the hype, the kind that shouts that AI is about to replace every human job. I try to keep everything I say close to what actually happens in practice.

Running businesses and doing marketing gave me a particular way of seeing AI. I care less about what AI can technically do and more about how it works alongside people, and how a company can apply it so it genuinely moves the needle.

The idea behind this site is simple. I am shy on camera, so I share through writing instead. AI helps me draft here and there, but I can promise you that about 80 percent of the structure and the thinking is my own.

The goal is to save you from learning AI from zero. I hope it is useful. If you want to say hi, follow along or send me an email.

    Thanks!

    (Where I work)

    Epilog Creative

    Co-Founder

    2019 - Now

My biggest business, and where most of my time still goes. A 50+ person Jakarta digital agency I co-founded in 2019, working with Bank BCA, Bank BSI, Brompton, Kapal Api, Bayer, and many others. Epilog is also where I prove out AI in a real operation, from speeding up the daily work to our own GEO service for AI search visibility. epilogcreative.com

    Infused & Latih AI

    Co-Founder

    2020 - Now

Started in early 2020. The goal is simple: Infused wants to be one of the key players in AI agent implementation in Indonesia. Its corporate training brand, Latih AI, tackles something the country badly needs, not just people who can use AI, but teams who understand how to apply it in a way that actually has impact. infused.asia · latihai.com

    (Why I share in public)

Two reasons. First, writing helps me think. If I can explain something clearly, I probably understand it. If I cannot, that is useful information too.

Second, learning in public helps everyone. The things I figure out might save someone else time. The mistakes I make might stop someone else from repeating them.

I am not selling certainty. I am showing the work as I go.
